Ideal Experience
of SCAD Dining Halls
A Mixed Method Research Project
I aimed to explore and reimagine the dining experience within the SCAD community
The objective of the research was to identify and enhance the elements that make dining at SCAD not just a necessity but a delightful and enriching experience.
Exploring physical spaces, menu options, inventory management, ambiance, community engagement, and sustainability practices.
What's the problem?
The dining establishment faces challenges such as a limited menu resulting in bland offerings, disruptive loud music, and poor table hygiene standards, absence of a feedback loop for diner input and a subpar order app UX further diminish the overall dining experience and customer satisfaction.
The suggested
solution.
Enhance the dining experience by diversifying menu options, improving ambiance, and upholding hygiene standards to attract more diners? Additionally, streamlining operations through enhanced diner experience, feedback mechanisms, and technological integrations while prioritizing user experience in the order app?

Concept Prioritization
After conducting an exhaustive analysis of diner requirements and engaging in rigorous brainstorming sessions, I systematically generate ideas and concepts across all pertinent verticals. These concepts are then subjected to multiple prioritization methodologies such as Impact Effort Analysis, Desirability-Viability-Feasibility matrix, and dot voting techniques to ascertain the most promising solutions.
